Worming
After your pup goes home, he/she will need to be wormed. Pups have had a full range of appropriate worming treatments from 2 to 8 weeks which will be documented on the health and shot record sent home with your pup. At 8 weeks, we have started monthly heartworm treatment that includes other parasite prevention as well (Interceptor Plus). Your pup will need to be treated monthly. If you miss a month, you will need to have your pup tested for heartworm to continue treatments. Please talk to you Vet on recommended parasite prevention.
